I played soccer all through elementary school, and by sixth grade, I was
starting to feel that I had a real talent for it. Playing soccer was for me
like flying is for a bird. It felt natural. That year, every moment that I
wasn't in school, I was on the soccer field. And every one of those
moments was a thrill for me.
