How can taking risks overcome fear?

It'll depend on the type of risk

Last year I took the risk of going on a helicopter across state.

After that I became pretty much fearless, but I know you didn't come for my life answer here is the proper answer.  

When you take the risk on something you put your fear of it aside, then after taking risk can make you put away that fear when doing such.

Taking a risk to achieve a goal requires courage to face the fear of uncertainty. No matter the outcome, either way, we grow through the process and become more resilient and confident. Better yet, building those skills helps in taking more risks and improves the chances of achieving future goals.

Just in case you may or may not be curious

As of 2020 I took my first helicopter experience, Im ngl it was scary I wanted to go back because I was still very scared of highs and going across the state in a helicopter didnt seem like it was going to help.

So we got up to where our tickets were taken and we were going to aboard the helicopter- My sister was trying to run away XD.

After the long what seemed to be forever ride my fear of heights decreased a lot. The scenery was beautiful as well.

Sometimes taking risk can go for the greater good.

clover, the mare, believes she remembers that the fourth commandment forbade sleeping in beds because it was something that humans did. snowball, napoleon, and the pigs are brain-workers who look after the welfare of the farm. they are the obvious leaders because they are smart, and so they are entitled to eat the best food and sleep in beds. it is squealer, who says these lines making the difference between sleeping with sheets, what humans do, and sleeping in beds, what pigs do. the unwillingness to question authority makes the oppressed to obey without thinking.
