The first year, 2004, didn’t hold much promise when only five students signed up for the class. However, Mrs. Peters dedicated herself to teaching art history to those five students. The class got to go on field trips to art museums and galleries. Mrs. Peters made learning about art fun. At the end of the school year, all five students passed the AP exam.
The next year, Mrs. Peters had 11 students sign up for the class. Most of them signed up because they heard good things about the class from the first five students. The class had fun but proved that they learned a lot when, yet again, the entire class passed the AP exam.
