We as a nation need to begin a movement to stop testing products on defenseless animals (PETA).

Physician scientists such as Aristotle, Herophilus, and Erasistratus conducted experiments on animals to discover the functions of living organisms. Originally, vivisection, the dissection of a living organism, were performed on criminals in ancient Rome and Alexandria, however, in ancient Greece there were prohibitions against the mutilation of the human body which eventually led to the reliance on animals.
