Yeah All I see is, is you, is you
Oh, you
How could you ever leave me without a chance to try?
How can I be sorry if I don't know the cr
ime?
I should be mad, 'cause you never told me why
Still, I can't seem to say goodbye
Ooh, yeah
When I try to fall back, I fall back to you (yeah)
When I talk to my friends, I talk about you (yeah)
When the Hennessy's strong, all I see is you, is you, is you, oh you (ooh)
Yeah, ooh (yeah)
No, I haven't moved on, but trust me, I've tried (yeah)
If I give you a call, don't hang up the line (yeah)
When the Hennessy's strong, all I see is you, is you, is you, oh you
I'm good at overthinking
But I haven't even got this far
All I know is that my mind is
In the back seat of your Corvette car
You got me at my bad
dest (baddest)
And you got me 'round your fingertip
Should be fed up with your bul
lshi. t
But everything about you, no, I can't resist
How could you ever leave me without a chance to try?
How can I be sorry if I don't know the crim. e?
I should be mad that you never told me why
Still, I can't seem to say goodbye
Ooh, yeah
When I try to fall back, I fall back to you (yeah)
When I talk to my friends, I talk about you (yeah)
When the jealousy's strong, all I see is you, is you, is you, oh you (ooh)
Yeah, ooh (yeah)
No, I haven't moved on, but trust me, I've tried (yeah)
If I give you a call, don't hang up the line (yeah)
When the jealousy's strong, all I see is you, is you, is you, oh you
Is you, oh, you
Is you, is you, oh, you
I see your face in every stranger, everywhere I go (everywhere I go)
I hear your voice in conversations, every word you spoke (every word you spoke)
Nearly blocked you on my phone about a thousand times
Yeah, I know I should say goodbye
Yeah, I know I should say goodbye
Ooh, yeah
When I try to fall back, I fall back to you (yeah)
When I talk to my friends, I talk about you (yeah)
When the Hennessy's strong, all I see is you, is you, is you, oh you (ooh)

In this excerpt from "dover beach" by matthew arnold, which two lines or sets of lines suggest that the speaker has undergone a loss of faith? the sea of faith was once, too, at the full, and round earth's shore lay like the folds of a bright girdle furled. but now i only hear its melancholy, long, withdrawing roar, retreating, to the breath of the night-wind, down the vast edges drear and naked shingles of the world. ah, love, let us be true to one another! for the world, which seems to lie before us like a land of dreams, so various, so beautiful, so new, hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light, nor certitude, nor peace, nor for pain; and we are here as on a darkling plain swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight, where ignorant armies clash by night.

What does the author see as the main cause for why students don’t really see shakespeare as a real, flawed human being? we shouldn’t shy away from discussing our literary heroes’ flaws. if nothing else, the knowledge of their failures us appreciate what success and greatness these authors did achieve. often our hero-worship keeps us from truly seeing the complexity of a great author. thus, i would argue, nothing would be better for high school students than to take shakespeare down a peg or two. a) the fact that students never learn enough about shakespeares biography b) the fact that students only read shakespeare’s comedies while in school c) the fact that students are never assigned to read any shakespeare while in high school d) the fact that students only read shakespeare’s greatest works in school and thus never see his weaknesses
