How do I tell someone that I don’t like their poems without being rude?

what I usually do in school if I don't like someone else's work, I'll say " it looks great, but it's just not in my interests/how I would actually do it.

poets can sometimes be dramatic, far-fetched, over exagerative, and sometimes even the smallest things can ruin their entire day or life.

did you know that Shakespeare, one of the most popular poets, almost killed himself at age 22 because he ran out of ink?

not saying all poets are like him, but sometimes it's best to either take out the time to explain why you don't like it, but keep them motivated, or pretend you actually like it.
