Being able to participate in the sport and share the word of God with others on the team seems very nice to me. For me, it’s doing two things I love. One being playing the sport and two being sharing the word of God.
I knew that everyone knew about God on my team but there could have always been one or two people that didn’t know the Lord that well. These before-game prayers could have taught them more about God. At the end of the day, I just hope that these people that might have not known about God would believe in him more every game.
