We have to do something about downtown traffic. Vehicles stuck in traffic are polluting the environment, people are wasting valuable time commuting, and no emergency services can get through. I get so angry sometimes when I'm stuck in traffic that I just want to move to another state! If we don't find a solution that helps move people through our city more efficiently, they will find other places to live and work. Which statement best explains a weakness in the author's use of appeal in the passage?

A.
The author should not have pointed out the weaknesses in the traffic situation to people who are suffering because of it.

B.
The author should not have used the emotional appeal about his anger because it distracts from his logical points.

C.
The author should not have admitted that he drives in the city because it makes him seem biased.

D.
The author should not have used so much logic in his explanation because it distracts from his emotional points.
