Identifying different kinds of information today
Let's revisit those five kinds of information we'd previously outlined:
• Information that conveys facts
• Information that shares news, or current events
• Information that shares opinions, or individuals' beliefs or thoughts about a topic
• Information that's intended for professionals in a certain field who use it to do their jobs
• Information that's intended for academics or researchers, which is often called scholarly
information
