1. Open the link to the textbook (Text of Night) in module. 2. Read chapter 1--pp. 3-22.

3. As you read, list at least SEVEN character traits for the characters of Elie, Moshe the Beadle, and Elie's father. For each character trait, copy a sentence from the text that illustrates this trait. Be sure to include the page number where you found the quote. It goes in parentheses after the quote. Here is an example:
