What does it mean to find or lose oneself? Have you ever felt like you lost yourself in a situation, friendship,
relationship, job, etc.? How did this happen? Did you have
any signs that it was happening that you ignored? If not
you, have you ever seen someone else lose themselves in
one of the above mentioned relations/situations? Do you
feel like you have actually found yourself as of today or
are you still wrestling with who you are? Explain.

I mean this question is all about your experience, but if I were to answer it through my experiences with that format I would say

To lose oneself takes a lot of effort. Some of my personal experiences could be at school with general relationships with friends or even family. I recognized that I started to lose myself when my family members started to decay. They were slowing being removed and tears were risen. I feel that I have the mentality and maturity today, but back then when such tragedy appeared it was definitely a tough time.
