The book "Night" was written by Elie Wiesel.It describes his experiences with his father in the Nazi concentration camps at Auschwitz and Buchenwald. The theme that revolves around the book is "with adversity comes a loss of faith in oneself and humanity". He hated humanity brought by how his father cared for him. It came to the point that he had to care for his father as his father became useless. He hated himself for not wanting to care for his father. Then again, his father died because he was beaten. Wiesel lay on the bunk above him scared that he was going to be beaten as well.
