Explanation: Well, I'm not pretty sure of the point we're trying to establish but, naturally, when you show a domesticated animal how or what it has to do, eventually it will learn. Maybe John will take his chicken with chickens that could actually lay some eggs. Maybe John's chicken doesn't know his purpose in life.
