The ACT Aspire Writing Assessments Writing part consist of 30-minute writing.

Such test is required  for the students in the school grades 3rd to 8th and for the first years of high school. Each  student, according to the level of grade they are in, must write in the form of an essay to a single prompt. The answers from the students are later on evaluated following different rubrics that assess the generation, development, communication and organization of ideas in standard written English language. It is usefull to provide an indicator of whether or not the students have the language and writing skills required to start working on the next school grade, as it describes writing abilities, skill and complexity grade by grade.
