The shift was when it was a religion problem then people would go to Chiristanity or islam or hindu or whatever the religion was. The drama Oedipus the king was writeen to explain he was a tragic hero and he wanted to save his people from being murdered and he wanted to solve a murder so his kingdom can be at peace.
