My independent reading was about the story of a group of young men and woman dedicated to promoting a clear and clean environment in the community. I would gladly recommend the reading to my friends because is a good way to be aware of environmental and social issues that affect our communities, rivers, lakes, forest, and cities. The work that those people to protect the Earth is remarkable and invite all of us to follow their example with small actions at home such as recycling, not wasting water, use the resources that we need and no more, ride a bicycle instead of driving the car, among others.
