Zejd coralic is a young boy who lives in sarajevo. zejd cannot hear. he is deaf.

in september 2015, zejd was 6. he started first grade. but zejd had a problem at school. he was not able to communicate with others.

a parent at the school wanted to fix this. she had an idea to zejd. zejd would learn sign language. so would the rest of his class.

the children took the challenge and learned how to speak with their hands. learning sign language took them only three months.

communicating this way made zejd happy. he felt motivated. next, zejd would learn to read lips.
