Two example of simile and explain each example

A statement that uses like or as.

I‘ll give a small paragraph for each example.

1.) He gazed into the eyes of the cat mysteriously. Something was off. Something didn’t feel right. Reaching out his hand. Curiosity overcame him. “I wonder..” Said the young man. His eyes sparkled as if they were gold.

Explanation:  The Simile in the story I wrote was ‘His eyes sparkled as if they were gold.’ This is a simile because it uses ‘as’. This simile means that he was shocked, distracted, entertained, etc.

2.) The floor screamed when she walked across. This made her vexed. The true meaning of to be sneaky was to sly but how could she be sly when the house was literally trembling like it was one hundred years, but in this case it was fifty years old.

Explanation:  The Simile used in the story I wrote was, ‘The house was literally trembling like it was one hundred years.” This is a simile because it uses ‘like’. This simile means that the house was extremely old.

which is a characteristic of dramatic point of view? it allows the audience to get deep inside a character's head. it often uses the pronouns i and me. it more easily allows the audience to make up their own minds about characters.
