The concept of "advocacy" refers to an activity by a person or group that attempts to influence or change policy (or policies) within social, political, or economic systems.  

The concept of "strategic planning" refers to the process within a particular organization of defining a particular strategy in order to formulate decisions and organize and allocate resources.  

The concept of "lobbying" refers to the persuasive act of trying to influence the decisions, actions, or policies of political or economic officials.
