In the first excerpt, Neil deGrasse Tyson describes how the human body is altered by a black hole. The tone is not a cheerful one, not only because it describes death, but because of the use of words such as "ripped apart" and "squeezed through a tube." On the other hand, the second excerpt is a lot more cheerful and relaxing, as it tells the story of a man walking down the street, being motivated by music. Nevertheless, both texts describe the movement of body by a force, whether it be a black hole or jazz music.
