What elements of the restoration comedy are seen in the importance of being earnest?

There's a lot of slap-stick comedy in the play, like characters tripping or slipping on things. Jack and Gwendolyn are constantly fighting because they don't really like each other and Jack is probably secretly in love with Algernon. Lady Bracknell knows that so she's mean to Jack.

One of the characteristics of Restoration comedy is that there several plots that can be seen in various situations as the story unfolds. Another is the characters don’t show much emotion to preserve the distinctive traits of the character during the play.  Then there is the focus on character failings and weaknesses that show they are not perfect.  All of this can be seen in this play.
