As i was nearing the end of my trip to the village where my grandfather grew up, i reflected on all that i had seen. the conditions that he had lived in as a youth were so harsh compared to conditions of my own upbringing. which sentence, if added, would make the best revision of the conclusion? i visited the one-room school house where my grandfather had been educated with the other children in his village. there was no grocery store within a hundred miles, so my grandfather and his family had to grow their own food in a garden. knowing my grandfather’s heritage made me realize how fortunate i am. for this year’s summer vacation, i decided to visit the land where my grandfather was born and raised.
