As these become more accepted and widespread in a community, they can also transform the way in which other residents of the city live and think.High immigration often results in more competition for essential resources, such as housing, healthcare, food and transportation.Cities that receive a lot of immigration often become more multicultural, which means that their offer of food, entertainment and cultural events tends to be more varied than in cities with a low number of migrants.
