Old scientists believed that the earth is stationary and the sun revolves around the earth. Then the Newton came in this field and told if the earth is stationary why the things from the space fall toward the earth. He believed in Heliocentrism model and told that the earth is orbiting around the sun and its motion is creating the gravitational pull to attract the things toward itself.
