How did geography influence the settlement of early africa.

Greece's precarious mountains and encompassing oceans constrained Greeks to settle in communities that were isolated. Travel via arriving was hard, and ocean voyages were perilous. Most old Greeks used to farm, yet great land and water were rare.

They made an effort to grew grapes and olives and raised sheep, goats, pigs, and chickens. Numerous old Greeks cruised over the ocean to establish states that helped spread Greek culture. Colonists settled in terrains that incorporate parts of present-day Turkey, Spain, France, Italy, and northern Africa.

To address their issues, the antiquated Greeks exchanged with other city-expresses, their settlements, and with different people groups in the Mediterranean area. They traded olive oil and earthenware for such products as grain, timber, and metal.
