Ozone is a stratospheric layer of three oxygen atoms, this acts as a blanket to earth.

An example of this is coral bleaching and drastic impact t has on marine life as the Ultraviolet rays hat enter the surface damage skin cells and tissues of these small organisms.  Also, associated with the warming of ocean temperature and an increase in salinity, etc.
