All of us are products of our environment and the geography of the place of our birth. The demographics of the land and the nature of the people around us have a major impact on our culture. This goes for every place on Earth. When I think of New Orleans I think of: Jazz, Slave and Caribbean culture, Cagion music and foods, swamps, Mardi Gras, and warm weather year round. All of these things have a profound effect on how the people who live there think and behave. That is what "Human and Physical Phenomena" is referring to.
