It is the third most populated country in the world after China and India.  Every year hundreds of thousands of people try their hardest to step into the Land of Opportunity.

However, the government is trying its best to limit the number of immigrants. If the U.S. made policies that would accept immigrants with open arms, they could handle it because they have the most powerful economy in the world.

However, if the United States follows its current trend, it would still have over a billion people by the end of the century.
