Salt marshes are found

b. away from the coast
c. on high energy coastlines
d. on low energy coastlines

D. On coastlines where there is low energy, there is no impetus for the salt to be moved to any other location, so marshes form that contain high levels of salinity. Higher energy coastlines or locations away from the coast would contain marshes with lowered (or no) levels of salinity.
