The atmospheric circulation created in this way creates trade winds, tropical hurricanes, as well as tropical rain zones, then subtropical deserts, etc. What drives such atmospheric circulation in the belt, from the Equator to 30 degrees latitude, is the uneven solar energy on the Earth's surface, which is largest around the Equator due to the known angle at which sunlight and energy reach the Earth. Thus, the aforementioned processes guided by Hadley's cells are in fact atmospheric processes in the belt on either side around the Equator, where these cells act from either side of the Equator to a latitude of 30 degrees.
