West Bank is a territory of Palestine located west of the Jordan River, previosly governed by Kigndom of Jordan and occupied by Israel from 1967.

This territory was from 1920 to 1947 part of the former British-mandated regime and colony.

British govrenment supported formal annexing of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip territory by Kingdom of Jordan after their departure and Israeli State proclamation in 1948.
