Railroads are one of the best and easiest ways of transporting goods and commodities. Earlier, to transport goods and commodities in bulk were very hard and were not possible also in some cases. Apart from these, to travel from one country to another with airplanes were expensive than train. Also, almost 70% of people depend on railways has their means of transportation. For example, in India, railways are the largest organization that employ close to two million people. And, looking at a nation like India which is seen has one of the developing nations, but most of the people there are not capable enough to afford the price of the airline to travel.

So, Steamboats are most efficient ways that is being utilize for transporting cargo from one country to other or from one continent to another continent (i.e from Europe to Africa) and this is use because it can transport goods up to 1000 tons at once. This means help to saves huge amount of money and time. Earlier, but airplanes were used to carry such tasks too but it can only transport heavy machines  one after the other and this waste time and cost huge amount of money to transport this goods. For example goods like crude oil, trains and other heavy machines are transported by cargo ships which has boosted the nation’s economy and reduced transportation charges.
