You will match different locations on Earth imaged by Google Maps or Google Street Views to plate tectonic locations of significance on Earth. Some of these locations will represent the boundary between two plates. Other locations will have other significance to plate tectonics as discussed in this lecture (Links to an external site.) and readings (Links to an external site.). These maps of reference of different tectonic plates (US Geological Survey Map (Links to an external site.), map with latitude and longitude (Links to an external site.)) may come in handy, because the URL address used by Google contains longitude and latitude information.
