IV. Em seis décadas, as mudanças no perfil demográfico dos países demonstram que a expectativa de vida ao nascer diminuiu em 11 anos, entre 1950 e 2010, nos mais desenvolvidos. Por outro lado, nas regiões menos desenvolvidas, a expectativa de vida diminuiu em 26 anos, no mesmo período.
