The answer is FALSE. Cuba is located on the island of Cuba, the largest island in the Caribbean. Haiti and the Dominican Republic share the island of Hispaniola.

This is false because Cuba constitutes one single island and in fact Hispaniola is made up of Haiti and the Dominican Republic with the latter to the east and the former to the west and they share a common border and a similar history..
