What ancient civilization arose in Central America

The most famous ancient civilizations that are arose in Central America are Mayas, Aztecs and Olmecs. Olmecs are the oldest pre-classical culture that developed on the soil of todays Mexico. On the other side Mayas and Aztecs disappeared when the European colonizers came to the New World.
