The terrorist activities are done over both civil population and people of political authority, though these two broad classifications can be further branched out. The region that seems to have the biggest problem with terrorism is the Middle East.

The Middle East is one of the most, if not the most troublesome region in the world. Because of all of the instability caused by dictatorships, religion, politics, foreign interventions, resources, poverty, it has been fertile soil for the formation and prospering of terrorist organizations. Usually, a rich locally or regionally influential person that has some radical ideology will use the money and resources to attract people to join the cause, and because of how the situation is in the region it quickly gains popularity and power with it. The methods used by the terrorist organizations are brutal and grousome. The most famous examples are al-Qaeda and ISIS.
