Syrian rebels have fought the Syrian government for almost 2 years. Lydia’s family migrated to Lebanon last month in search of safety. They are currently living in a refugee camp on the border of Syria and Lebanon.

Scenario B
Afshan was targeted and nearly killed by the Taliban for supporting education for girls. Conflict within Afghanistan in the past decades has been increasing, as a result, Afshan’s family fled Afghanistan for Pakistan in hopes of safety and a promising future.

Scenario C
Gemma’s dad worked at Exxon Oil Company in Nigeria. He heard Shell oil drillers discovered petroleum in the North Sea off the coast of northeast Scotland and he applied for a job with Shell. After several interviews, Gemma’s dad was hired and the whole family moved to Scotland.
