Explanation:

Adaptation in plants and animals is common like humans which enables them to survive in hostile environments. The adaptation is a major genetic and physiological adaptation of species and allows them to modify their behavior in aspect or respect to the changes in the external environment such as climate etc.  Such as the white-coated rabbit, ox, and fox during the winter months. The adaptation of plants such as growing close to the ground antarctic region to capture the maximum solar heat. The shedding of the leaves with changing seasons and the ability to adapt to shades of the forest floor are some of the characteristics properties of the plants and animals.

It is the doctrine that the us had the right and duty to expand throughout north america. it just means they believed they had the right to expand westward and they did! they stated with the 13 colonies and then they kept moving gaining different territories throughout the years
