For the third week in a row now you find yourself in an interesting situation where you can use the knowledge you are gaining from your science course and apply it! You are taking your daily stroll with your family members (since you are social distacing from everyone else!) just to get some fresh air. All of a sudden you feel a sharp big bump under your feet. Then a few seconds later you feel a stronger rolling shaking of the ground. What just happened? Likely you and your family members have deduced that you've just experienced an earthquake but you are able to explain what is actually happeneing to the earth and why and how you feeling the ground move.
