Voyager 2 was able to capture proof of the intensity of storms that occur on neptune. these are known to be times as strong as those on earth.

The speed of the storms found in neptune is about 2100 km / hr that was capture by the voyager 2. while the storm in earth is only about 275 km / hr. then the intensity of the storm in the neptune compared to earth is about  2100 / 275 = 7.6 times as strong as those on earth
