In 1989 UN signed an additional treaty the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The laws provide them with the right to freedom from torture or degrading treatment , the right to the freedom of the opinion and the expression , the right to freedom of thought, the conscience, and religion , the right to life, liberty, and security , the freedom from discrimination.
