China was extremely industrialized to the point where laborers were willing to work in factories for really cheap. Ever wonder why so many products say "Made in China"? This is due to the fact that many companies will typically have their products made in there due to the cheap cost of labor. The result of this is thousands of factories releasing loads of carbon into the atmosphere every day.
