Are individual human rights victories less important or significant than victories that are won by large groups? (paragraph)

I do believe they are less significant (in broader scope) than victories that are won by large groups.

This is not to say that individual victories are not important, but to highlight the ripple effect that human rights victories won by groups has and why they are more significant in the long run.

Take for instance the Civil Rights Act and how that has helped curb racial discrimination, not just in America, but also in most parts of the world.

You cannot compare the ripple effect with that of an individual human rights victory.
