Based on what you're learned to this point in the class, why would you say it's so important for us to understand what geologic time is, and the principles on which it is based. Imagine you were speaking with someone who didn't get it - what would you need to show them to help understand? NOTE: I am looking for scientific content from earlier in the course here.
