(Will award 100 points) Create a Topography map that has the following requirements. 1. Name your island on top and state the map's scale on the center bottom of your paper.
2. State the contour interval 20 feet on the bottom right.
3. Show index contour lines with their elevations for every 5th contour line. All other contour lines should be narrower.
4. Show the highest elevation of 224 feet with a spot elevation symbol. Mark two other spot elevations.
5. Make the western side of the island the steepest area.
6. Show at least 3 streams (two with small rapids, one with a dam).
7. Show one submerged marsh, one orchard, and one spring.
8. Mark a mine, a campground, and two depressions in the highland area.
9. Show a sand area on the eastern side of the island, and a glacial moraine in the north.
10. Show a city with streets and buildings on the eastern side.
11. Show two other smaller towns (with buildings) at different elevations.
12. Link the city and towns with a single track railroad and a secondary (medium-duty) road system. Show overpasses if the roads and railroads cross.
13. Show 3 trails in the highland area with one trail going to the mine.
14. Locate a small airport near the city.
15. Show a coral reef with sunken ships off the western coast.
16. Show at least two woodland areas in green. All water must be blue.
17. Include a directional arrow (compass rose), two churches, two schools, and a legend for all symbols and colours on the back.
