Why do we need economic activities ? What is the purpose of economic activities? And what will happen if we don’t have economic activities? Helppp pls

Economics is the study of how societies use scarce resources to produce valuable commodities and distribute them among different people, One of the main aims of economic activity is to produce goods and services to make them available to costumers. If we don't have economic activities there is a tendency/ possibility that many workers or clients would be suffered from crisis because of losing their jobs & profits.
