The name of the supercluster that our galaxy group belongs to is the Virgo Supercluster.  Three characteristics that I learned about our supercluster is at least 100 galaxy groups and clusters, including our Local Group, are located within the Virgo Supercluster, the diameter of this great supercluster is thought to be about 110 million light-years, and the Virgo Supercluster itself might be part of an even-larger structure.
