1. The gray matter volume degenerates during adolescence. It is believed to be associated with synaptic pruning, which is the process of synapse removal. It’s partially dependent on the environment it is living in.

2. There were two different reactions seen in the image. First, was the disappointment in the faces of the men in red with their hands at the back of their heads; Second, was astounded faces of the men wearing yellow with their arms up in excitement. Another similar scenario to this situation, would be if you’re watching an NBA game live, and your team won, of course, the usual reaction would be to shout with joy and probably get wild and ecstatic, while people who support the other team will feel defeated.

3. I couldn’t get why one of my friends disliked showing affection towards her parents when I was younger since I thought we should let them feel our love as much as we could and as I got older, I started to understand why she disliked it and I was able to understand her perspective better.

4. I'm a near-sighted person. So I usually avoid saying hi to people for afar since I can't really see them that well. But one time, I think I saw my best friend across the street and I shouted her name only to find out that it wasn't her! Five years ago, I wouldn’t have been embarrassed, I would’ve laughed and apologized for mistaking her as someone else. Five years in the future, I would be even more embarrassed because as an adult, I would probably overthink how stupid of me to shout and call the attention of a stranger, I would most likely run away and probably try to forget it happened.

5. It means that parents and adults should associate with teens in a positive and understanding way. A lot of adults behave like they never experienced being a teenager before. Shakespeare had expressed that the teens fighting and sleeping all the time and it seems like that is still true in today's generation. Most adults would probably deny that they weren't like that before and would instead argue that they were productive and hardworking when they were still teenagers. They would stick to this thinking to make it seem like the teens today are lazy when in fact that was how they also were years ago.
