Refusal skills are skills the help children prevent making high risk decisions such as peer pressure. Peer pressure is what a group of people do to pressure another person to do something high risk. If you develop this type of skills it would help you to say no to things that can harm you which protects your dignity, self esteem and yes, value if you count your life as one.
